Currently working on:
I've embarked on a thrilling learning journey! To expand my knowledge on how UX can aid in healthcare sectors, I've enrolled myself on a few courses. I am also helping out in organizing and hosting events for the world-famous group "Ladies That UX" in Utrecht.
Buuuuut, when I'm not designing, you'll find me trying to learn Dutch, working on my bouldering skills, going to a concert, or trying out an arts & crafts project like tufting a rug.
About
Cool as a cucumber, international as Mr. Worldwide. My life started in Brazil in the middle of a very loud and chaotic city of São Paulo. Then, at the age of 8, my life quite literally turned upside-down and I went to live in China because of my father's job. After three years of living like Jaden Smith in Karate Kid (minus the karate), we moved to Sweden to learn the ways of the Vikings.
After many cold winters, I decided to move to The Netherlands. There, I completed a Bachelor of Science degree in communication and multimedia design with a focus on user experience.
During my study period, I worked on many inspiring projects. These not only taught me design methods and techniques but also allowed me to see how design can make a difference in the world and help people. I discovered that this is what drives me.
An internship at a startup that implements virtual reality in healthcare opened my eyes to a world I wanted to be a part of. Being able to shape healthcare experiences through UX, for patients and healthcare providers alike, became a goal I want to pursue in my life, either as a profession or something I do on the side.
